The Collared Spruce full-service design package follows the structure outlined below to ensure your home is expertly designed and managed.
All projects start with an initial assessment to review your home. During this meeting we will determine our compatibility and discuss the scope, lifestyle, functionality, budget, aesthetic and so on. While there we will provide initial ideas and inspiration that you can take away from the meeting.
After the initial assessment, the Design Letter of Agreement (DLOA) and Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided. This will outline the estimated budget for time billing and furnishings, along with the terms of our process. The Collared Spruce conducts business using an hourly design service structure which is collected in the form of retainers. The Collared Spruce will provide invoices reflecting the time spent on the project on a monthly basis. Once the DLOA is signed and the retainer is collected, we will schedule a visit to measure all spaces and existing furnishings if appropriate.
Once we have completed the onboarding process, we will begin developing the specific design details to ensure your home is tailored to you and your lifestyle. To guide you through this journey, The Collared Spruce will provide multiple design options showcased with mood boards, space plans, elevations, and physical samples for your review.
We will thoughtfully discuss every detail to ensure that every element of your home is carefully considered and covered.
Once the design is finalized, The Collared Spruce will fulfill all product orders and oversee all logistics, including the receiving, storage, then finally the delivery of items to your home.
We will also work closely with contractors and tradespeople to ensure the project aligns with the developed design, with a primary focus on maintaining both the timeline and budget.
Once ready, we will execute the final stage of your project. The Collared Spruce will manage the installation and styling of all items, transforming your space into a finished home.
