Blue Bloom
Madison, Ga
A new construction home in the heart of the Madison, GA Historic District originally had an all-white aesthetic which lacked the warmth and tradition the homeowners desired. We developed a new color story that reflects the vibrant travels and lifestyle while still nodding to the historic nature of the home.
Walking through the home, the Living Room greets you with a calming blue tone. An aged brick fireplace with a rustic wood mantle adds natural warmth to the space. To introduce a formal touch to the room, we installed custom bookcases in a creamy tone that complements the fireplace and softer tones in the furnishings.
For the furnishings, we selected a deep sofa designed for both comfort and durability, specifically catering to a busy household with grandchildren. The pillow sizes were intentionally chosen to ensure they can remain on the furniture even when in use. A brass fireplace screen provides a polished decorative display that ties the brass elements together. Collected accessories fill the room, creating a cozy retreat from the bustle of downtown Madison.
